Your hdd can bring a anytime and anywhere a error or malfunction. And the online backup you only depend of a good connection speed and your files will never be deleted or you will get any problems with it. I am using http://www.dmailer.com/dmailer-backup.html and i din't had any problem with them until now and i am using it for more than a year, also their software is free so you dan use it to backup all you want. And their online service is free up to 3gb , but anyway if you want to buy larger packs it will be a lot more cheaper then buying a new hdd.
