Hello Friend,

Not being a ‘young-whizz-kid-computer-geek-techie’, during the 3 years that I’ve been online I met many challenges and frustrations.   First, I had to learn how to use my computer efficiently  …then how to make websites and how to understand and carry out all the other functions necessary to become an internet marketer.  But as I gradually found the solutions to these challenges I realised that I had learned a number of useful basic tips and hints.  And that’s why this site came into being.

I made ’The Marketing Mother’ for selfish reasons…

I called this site ‘The Marketing Mother’ not because I’m a mother who’s a marketer – I am, but that wasn’t the real reason.  Being a mother, every time I learned or found something interesting or useful on the net or found the solution to something that had been really frustrating me, I felt I wanted to pass it on to my children.

But …my grown-up children all have careers of their own and aren’t interested in internet marketing and my smallest daughter is too young to be interested (yet!) so I had no one to pass on my ‘pearls of wisdom’ to!  And I made this site in the hope that it will help some other ‘children’.

If you have something you don’t understand that is really blocking your progress on the internet, drop me a line via the ‘Contact’ page (link above) and I will try to find the solution for you.  Can’t promise but I’ll do my best.

One other point I want to cover is that when recommending a paid product that I know is a good product and worth the money it asks, I will usually use an affiliate link.  If you are someone who prefers not to use affiliate links please feel free to clear your cookies or make your way to the recommended site by another path.

I’ll also mention here that in the past three years I’ve spent a small fortune buying internet marketing products, one of the advantages being that I’ve learned which marketers give genuine value – and which don’t.
